At Clutton CE Primary School, we recognise our moral and statutory responsibility to safeguard and promote the welfare of all of our children.  We endeavour to promote a safe and welcoming environment where children are respected and valued.  We are alert to the signs of abuse and neglect and follow our procedures to ensure that children receive effective support, protection and justice.

Clutton CE Primary School recognises that every member of its staff has a key role in prevention of harm, and the early identification, intervention and support for pupils at risk of significant harm. The School endeavours to provide an environment where children are valued and know that their concerns will be taken seriously.

Clutton CE Primary School aims to provide a welcoming and inclusive environment where everyone feels happy, safe and secure. We promote an atmosphere of truth and honesty in which everyone feels valued and shows respect for each other and their surroundings. As a team, we are committed to high expectations and continuous improvement. We adopt a child centred approach to high quality teaching and learning, inspiring everyone to achieve their full potential

At Clutton Primary School we strive to create an environment where children feel safe and supported. It is the responsibility of every member of our school community to safeguard children and this safeguarding page is designed to offer resources and information to aid this.

The Designated Safeguarding Lead is Nicola Badger and the Deputy Designated Safeguarding Leads are Gemma Browne and Lucy James. The teacher responsible for supporting pupils who are looked after from care is Nicola Badger.
