At Clutton, our Local Governance Committee works closely with the Executive Headteacher and school community. Focusing on the curriculum, school improvement and aspects of safeguarding, the LGC meets regularly and provides reports and recommendations as well as a scrutiny and monitoring function. Individual governors have extra responsibilities in different areas; they are known as link governors and often visit school to speak to the Executive Headteacher and subject leaders and also report to the local committee.
All of our governors take pride in being a part of our school community and attend regular events within the school calendar. As a local academy committee within a Multi Academy Trust (MAT), we also work closely with CDAT and our extended school community.
